Oops it was lame!

Hilarious! Kristy scored us free tickets to Britney Spears last night so we donned on some lippy and joined the other 18000 fans excited about singing along to some gold! So disappointed it was more sad than bad....no large TV screens, seriously lame sound (yes she mimed!) and Brit looked pretty rough-due to hooker dancing and bad hair-do (exactly like you see when you read the trashmags... high messy ponytail). Our suggestion was perhaps it needed some more razzle-dazzle to distract everyone from the fact Britney aint what she used to be....

Anyways we finished the night with cocktails at the 'Spice Lounge' which was the super cheese we were after and the highlight was the awesome piano dude who sang Phil Collins...funnily he more entertaining than Brit! Good times!

Ladies of Leisure

Kitty and I and a few of gentlemen and lady friends got all fancy and went for high-tea on Sunday- ooolala! It was delightful, well almost...It was a beautiful sunny day and I wanted to be outside looking over the river but we got a crappy inside table. It almost made me cry as I had organised it for Kitty's birthday and wanted everything to be perfect. The food was mediocre which was a tad disappointing but the tea was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I would totally got back for the tea alone! It was served in old silver teapot and floral fine bone chine. I am now in love with Stockholm tea-sweet and fruity! Ta-ta xox

new-fangled

howdy bloggers! oh excuses, excuses, excuses! I can think of a million reasons for why I have been all M.I.A over the last couple of weeks but none of them actually sound any good, Ha-ha! So, how is everyone?! i must say I have missed you :)

Kitty has been travelling the globe and has bought home with her some super-duper goodies for the shop! V. exciting! I love presents...especially the shiny kitsch variety!

Here are some of the sweetest things which have found a new home on our shelves! Loving the ice-cream cone money boxes, knitted hair-bows and beaded fruit coin purses! There is a whole range of other lovely treats so come say hi!

Stay tuned for more posts, I have a few up my sleeve!

Surely Not!

Really? I spotted this on the American Apparel website and laughed. I don't think this will look cute on anyone, not even the coolest lady, actually the only person that springs to mind who could possibly look ok in a scrunchie is Whitney from The City and perhaps Correy Kennedy. Maybe. I'd have to see it. And I tried to find a picture but nope. If you find one email me!!!

I have terrible photos from my childhood of me sporting homemade scrunchies that match my outfit. I remember my Mum made them from all her old patchwork fabric. Frightening! I don't remeber this from SATC but this is quite hilarious!

It was all Yellow...

As you know I quite enjoy Natalie Portman and a friend sent me this pic of her. And I was quite shocked! I wouldn't have thought she'd be a yellow nail-polish wearer! She gets away with it though without it looking tacky, cheessy or twee which I'm pretty sure is what I'd look like if I sported this colour! I wonder if this is whats 'in' at the moment in the world of nailpolish?

I do LOVE nail polish at the moment, I must admit. Not sure why! Maybe it's because I have been typing lots lately and enjoy capturing a pretty painted nail when I glance at the keyboard. I have been enjoying these colours lately dark plums , light solid and barbie pinks. But I would love to try that mushroom colour, blue and lilac!

P.S: Maybe I should try this! haha just joking! Oh Heidi when will you learn- though I love your tackiness!

LOL

I read lots of blogs and today this post on Coco Rochas blog Oh So Coco made me laugh out loud....I want one of those kitties...no really I do...I had this friend who had this funny little dog called Cisco and he had a bald chest kinda like a puppies belly. Have you petted a dogs belly? Its all smooth and funny like thats what I imagine petting Gollum (he is actually model Behati pet!) would be like...like velvet!

P.S Coco Rocha is still one of my fave supermodels at the moment! She is a chameleon!

Crusty Goodness!!!!

We just got these delightful goodies into the shop yesterday! Bless, they are cute! Uppercrust hails from Melbourne and has created a funny and quirky label. I think a brooch added to a lapel of a winter coat would bring a little cheer to a cold winters day!
P.S they are cheap as chips small ones start from $30! yeeeha!

Floating on a cloud!

Last night the Lala gang packed their picnic baskets and headed down to the swan river in Bayswater to watch the floating cinema hosted by Perth International Arts Festival! It was delightful and a perfect end to the weekend!
They were showing Kiki's Delivery Service which is made by the same people who did Howls Moving Castle. It was so innocent and sweet and GiGi the kitty was was funny. Kitty Brite got all domestic on us and baked roasted onion tarts, these roast tomatoe mini delights and prawn salad. It was feast and the most enjoyable evening! I hope you all had a great weekend!
