To Make a Spectacle of One's Self

So I have come to the final conclusion/self diagnosis that I am really blind, whilst squinting to see a street sign in the dark last night. Now I'm wondering whether I can actually pull off a pair of spectacles, guess I'm going to have to give it a go or I may end up wandering the streets for days!
